On a sunny day in December the ElephantTribe crew went to visit Skid Row, Downtown Los Angeles, where Aaron Clark, a homeless veteran that lives in a tent on Omar street, chose the tribe to share his dream.

Hi Henrik,
I’m sooo happy to hear from you! Your footage made me cry to see my brother that way, but also so happy and relieved that he is alive and well. It’s amazing how the universe works. Another Vet contacted me on Facebook and sent me the link to The Airplane clip. I scrolled down and found the other clips of Aaron. I’m so glad you took the time to talk to him, interview him. He truly is a special soul. He’s kind and gentle and his mind is brilliant. He doesn’t realize how important and loved he is. I will call you tomorrow to talk. Thank you again for talking to him. We wouldn’t know where to begin otherwise.
All the best,
Amanda

Upon meeting Aaron Clark, a homeless veteran from the Iraq war, living on the streets of Los Angeles, we asked Aaron to draw his dream …… take a look closer on this drawing to really feel the dream that has been watering Aaron’s soul since he was 3 years old …
Hi Henrik,
Thank you so much! The drawing is beautiful! One of Aaron’s friends and fellow veteran is posting flyers today about Aaron and going downtown to look for him. I am going to coordinate with him next week if I can to try and locate him. I will keep you posted.
With Gratitude,
Amanda
Interesting comments. You must have been surprised. Wonder whether he wanted to be “rediscovered”?

Hi Henrik,
Thank you for sending this link.
What a gift this is for Aaron’s family to have seen the recent film clips of this beautiful soul and to learn of his general whereabouts. My heart goes out to them and so do my prayers for their success in locating him if that is meant to be. May this film clip be a metaphor for Aaron’s life.
Best wishes for every success as you continue with your beautiful creative process.
Sincerely,
Kathy

We are all connected and Aaron is our common thread.

From Jennifer:
Hi there.
We finished talking to the neurologist and it appears Aaron has lost all brain activity.
Having this knowledge mom and dad have decided it’s time to let him rest.
We plan to talk to the hospital social worker about next steps.
I think tomorrow will be his final day. We’re just having everyone say goodbye.
From Jennifer:
Approximately 2:50 pm PST Aaron Jared Benjamin Clark drew his last breath and went peacefully.
His body will be cremated and while we haven’t decided on when or where his memorial will be, I will make sure everyone is informed when the decision is made.
thank you for all the love, prayers and endearing sentiments that you shared with me, Emilie, Amanda and mom and dad.
We greatly appreciate it.
My apologies for being so formal, I’m just trying to keep calm and collected right now as we move forward. I love you and I appreciate you.
Good morning,
I’ve tried to view the footage and can’t Amanda was able to. She was given permission to “edit”.
Maybe I was too and just aren’t aware of how to. If you can, please give me permission so that I can view it.
Blessings.
I pray and hope that you are well
Cynthia
Thank you Martina.
I’ve followed your instructions but the footage won’t play.
Maybe it’s because I’m not emotionally ready.
I will attempt it again before the 22nd when time will expire for me to view them.
You had no idea when you were filming, I would imagine, that you would be capturing the sweetest, good hearted, kindness, smart, enlightened, quick witted and funny beloved nephew of mine.
If only you had known him just a few years back.
My heart aches to see him. It also rejoices that you encountered him and saved a piece of him for us.
Thank you.
He was sooooo much more than his end of life events!
Blessings,
Cynthia
I had Martina and Anastasia extracting and forwarding the raw film footage of your beloved Aaron…
Let me know if you have any questions or comments after seeing the film footage.
This message a little short as I just returned from the hospital myself.
My blessings
Henrik
Greetings Henrik,
I’m sending you prayers and healing light. Sorry to learn that you were in the hospital.
Thank you for the link. However, I don’t have the password.
It’s not letting me use mine or do a single one time log in. Am I doing something wrong.? Can you put it on a private YouTube link?
Thank you,
Cynthia
Hi Henrik,
We spoke several months ago about the videos you posted on YouTube about my brother Aaron.
As I mentioned, we have been looking for him for a long time. He was picked up by EMT’s on May 27, and hospitalized complaining of heart issues. Since that time, he has had two heart attacks, and two strokes, one of which was massive and caused a hemorrhage in his brain. As of today, his heart is beating and is strong, but he has an infection in his heart and his blood. They were able to stabilize him enough to get a CT scan and there is more bleeding in his brain. His brain is dead and his organs are showing signs of wearing down. I know that you only met and spoke to him for a short while, but I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to talk to my brother. You got to find out what a special person he is. Thank you so much again for posting those videos, they are the only footage I have of my brother alive. If you have more footage I would really love to see it. I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to find him and save him. He is such a kind, gentle, sweet soul that deserves so much more than he got from this life. I hope I didn’t burden you with this information, I just felt it was important to let you and anyone else that Aaron has touched know of his whereabouts and his welfare. I would love to work with you to perhaps create something that could honor my brother and the wonderful work that you do. If you like, you may reach me at this email or call me at ***-***-****.
With Gratitude,
Amanda
