One of those funny moments!

I went to the health club, as I usually do everyday. Next to me, was a man I’ve seen many times before. I’ve seen him at the sports club for the past 10 years. He is an extremely healthy looking man in his 60s. I have exchanged brief conversations with him over the years about his workout routines. He has always said that he works out based upon a routine, a list, that he follows religiously everyday. He looks like he’s 40 years old! But he’s in his LATE 60s. Doing the same thing everyday, working towards a goal…. this clearly makes one look a certain way. In this case, HEALTHY. We started talking about his workout, this particular day. He said he had had a great workout as usual. He followed the list, followed the routine, like everyday. What made this day different was my question to him. And I don’t know why I asked, but I did. “What would you want to be in your next life?”, I asked him. He looked at me very passionately and sincerely and said, “I want to return as the Messiah”. I replied, “You want to return as A messiah?” He said, “No. THE messiah.” I asked, “What would you do?”. He replied, “I want to let people know how to be good to one another. To be nice. To care for one another.”
